Picnic at Ravinia

The Ravinia Festival of music takes place every summer in Highland Park.  Each
night there is a show in the pavilion and guests have the option of purchasing a
ticket for inside the pavilion or for picnicking on the lawn.  The Ravinia Festival
hosts a breadth of artists from pop to jazz to classical to Latin and more, so there
is something for everyone.  It is recommended that you bring a blanket, wine,
picnic foods and some citronella candles and spread out on the lawn to enjoy the
music.  Metra trains run from the city and you can also drive.  Calendar and visitor
